Many allegations were done against BBMP that 90% of the waste materials are getting dumped in a quarry near Bellahalli. A petition was filed by Venkatesh and other villagers, to the NGT bench. Justice Swatanter Kumar head of The NGT Act said that dumping garbage without segregating dry and wet waste product would adversely affect the health of local residents. They also directed the BBMP officials to remove the solid wastes and segregate it properly. According to the NGT Act such dumping of waste materials deteriorates soil quality, as well as the environment, also gets contaminated with those waste materials. So, in the recent survey when NGT verified the civic bodies the waste products are still dumped there and no measure actions have been taken even after the warning then “NGT imposes Rs 5 crore fine on BBMP for illegal dumping of waste products”.

The property price is ranging from Rs 1000 to 4000 per sq. ft. which is an ideal investment as compared to other places.
